Maharashtra Government Gazette cancels Recognition to all CPS courses.

The gazette notification dated 14th July 2023 and signed by secretary of department of medical of government of Maharashtra de-recognises almost all CPS courses with effect from the date of gazette notification ie 14th July 2023. With this gazette notification it can be safely assumed that all CPS courses are Derecognised in Maharashtra. 

Does it affect the doctors who already possess CPS diplomas?

The gazette notification unambiguously declares diplomas of all those candidates who have already passed or taken admission in said courses to be valid. The gazette notification in fact is very clear that all such doctors wont face any problem as far as registration and renewal of their registrations is concerned.

The said gazette notification also explicitly prohibits admissions to such courses in future.
